Sling Player is killing it these days, releasing a number of mobile clients that have revolutionized place shifting media. Next up on the chopping block is further support for Symbian S60. The company currently supports a number of S60 handsets, but intends to bring even more into the fold. A new release this summer will bring support for the following handsets:

  • Sony Ericsson P1i
  • Sony Ericsson P990i
  • Sony Ericsson W960i
  • Sony Ericsson W950i
  • Sony Ericsson M600i
  • Motorola MOTORIZR Z8

Sling is also planning further support for the upcoming Nokia N95 8GB, as well as fresh Windows Mobile and BlackBerry clients by the end of this year. 2008, year of the Sling. Has a bit of a ring to it, right?
