The unit pictured to the right is merely a prototype but once the AppStore drops, this puppy is going to be an absolute necessity. The iControlpad is a hardware accessory designed to transform your iPod into a portable gaming device with a dedicated directional pad and four rubber gaming buttons. It fits snugly around the iPhone and connects to the dock port in order to interface. But it will take a bit of work before app store games are compatible with the iControlpad, and that’s where a simple jailbreak comes in handy. Yes, all ZodTTD emulator projects are fully compatible with the iControlpad. Translation: All the Playstation, Genesis, Nintendo, Super Ninendo, etc games you can handle on your iPhone with a real gaming controller to rock them out with. Prototypes have already been distributed and hopefully we’ll see the Order link light up soon.
