The possibility of using brain-activated dialing instead of voice seems like a feasible thing of the future. NeuroSky Inc. of San Jose, CA is developing a new technology which will allow people to perform tasks and certain functions on their phones via brainwaves. Talk about crazy! There is already technology that exists where the minds of monkeys and some humans were used to move cursors on computers and play keys on a piano, so it seems only natural that they adopt this into other technologies. In one experiment done by NeuroSky, people were asked to move a character through a video game as quickly as possible. Multiple pieces of equipment were used and connected to the phone via Bluetooth. Hmm, we can picture the future now… “I wonder if I should call my ex, Kelly. Oh crap! Phone, I command you to stop dialing!”

Thanks, Yash!
