Sony Ericsson possibly eyeing Android for XPERIA?

Just last week, Sony Ericsson opened up the possibility of a future Xperia model released with an OS other than Windows Mobile. We postulated about how awesome Android would be on a S.E. XPERIA device. Well, that pie in the sky dream may become a reality after all. On Wednesday at a media event in Lund, Sweden, Sony Ericsson president, Dick Komiyama, said S.E. is interested in Android but not quite ready to adopt it. Though not quite the open embracing of Android we dreamed about, it is encouraging that S.E. is open to its adoption as an alternative OS. Sony Ericsson X1-A(ndroid), here we come!
