Wait, what? Is that headline right? Indeed it is folks – if comScore’s January numbers are to be believed at least. The authority on web-watching has just issued its most recent US search engine market share data and jaws around the internet are dropping in rapid succession. Yahoo, continuing an upward trend for the sixth consecutive month, finished the month with 21 percent of the US search market – up from 20.5 percent in December. Google on the other hand, managed to slide a half of a point from December to 63 percent.
