FCC confirms AWS version of HTC Rhodium (Wing 2)

Now that T-Mobile US finally has some important regions covered with its historically elusive 3G frequency, more and more AWS-compatible phones are popping up. The most recent — HTC’s Rhodium aka Wing 2, which was first uncovered back in January. The handset, a sleek Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional-powered QWERTY slider, is one of several variants destined for big carriers here in the US. Notable specs include a Qualcomm 7201A processor, 512MB ROM, 256MB RAM, a 3.6-inch WVGA touchscreen display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, FM Radio and microSDHC support. So, T-Moblers, if you’re looking for a 3G HTC handset with a nice big touchscreen display and a slide-out QWERTY, it looks like this might be just what the doctor ordered.
