There’s really not too much to say other than T-Pain will probably be adding about 70 more of those “Big Ass Chain” pieces to his jewelry collection when sales are tallied for his iPhone application. If you haven’t heard about it when it was in the making, it’s basically a brilliant concept — transform the iPhone’s microphone into a mobile recording studio and get Antares’ Auto-Tune technology infused on top. You can record your own songs and even better, download T-Pain instrumentals to sing along with. Then shoot your finished recording in an email to friends or post it up on your MySpace or Facebook so everyone can make fun of you.

The application is fantastically-crafted and we’re going to go out on a limb here and say this is probably one of the smartest things we’ve ever seen on the iPhone. It’s only $2.99 to get your T-Pain on and it’s available now. Shawty.
