HTC Incredible spotted in Verizon’s system

Looks like the DROID’s days of being Verizon’s hero device are numbered because references to the next great Android smartphone to hit up Big Red, the HTC Incredible, have been found within a CelleBrite, a tool used by employees for transferring user info from one handset to another. Typically when a device shows up in a CelleBrite it means that we’re on the figurative eve of release, although in the past there have been some notable exceptions. All we know is that Verizon better get off its duff and get as many people locked into contracts as fast as it can, because come summer it’s going to have to fend off not only the new iPhone but the EVO 4G.
