Wi-Fi only Samsung Galaxy Tab to hit Best Buy for $499

When Verizon Wireless announced the Samsung Galaxy Tab, there was a fair amount of skepticism about the unreleased device’s $599 price tag. Now, according to a leaked Best Buy advert, it appears as though a Wi-Fi only model will be making its way to Best Buy Mobile for a more modest $499. The Wi-Fi only Galaxy Tab, which will be available in silver, packs the exact same components as its cellular counterpart — minus a CDMA radio. Samsung had promised a Wi-Fi only model of the device when the Tab was officially announced back in September; the company had made it seem like that device was still a ways off. What do you think? In light of the new model and price is the Tab any more appealing?
