iPhone 3GS free for one day only at Best Buy

Best Buy announced a one day sale on Monday during which it is offering Apple’s 8GB iPhone 3GS for free with a new or upgraded two-year AT&T contract. The device is available in Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile stores. The iPhone 3GS, which is listed for $49 on Apple’s website, lacks the Retina Display of the iPhone 4, has a slower processor and also doesn’t have a forward-facing camera for Facetime video calls. It offers a 3-megapixel camera, a 3.5-inch 480 x 320-pixel display, support for AT&T’s 3G network, GPS, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1+ EDR and up to 5 hours of talk time on 3G networks. Best Buy Mobile Offers Free AT&T 8GB iPhone 3GS on Aug. 22
