Motorola on Wednesday announced additional information regarding its Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update schedule. The company has confirmed that an Ice Cream Sandwich update is currently rolling out to the XOOM, with the XOOM Family Edition, Atrix 4G, Atrix 2 and Photon 4G set to receive the update in the second quarter and third quarter of 2012. Motorola previously confirmed an update for the DROID BIONIC, DROID RAZR, DROID RAZR MAXX and DROID 4, however the company’s website list the devices as being “in Evaluation & Planning” phase. In fact, all of Verizon’s phones and tablets are curiously stuck in the evaluation stage and there are no further details as to when they may see an update.
