Microsoft announced on Monday during its annual Worldwide Partner Conference in Toronto that it has high hopes for its Surface tablet. The company and its partners are looking to sell 375 million PCs in 2013, “a few million” of which will be Surface tablets, ZDNet reported. The software giant’s outlook is more optimistic than even some of its partners, which claim the Surface will flop due to low customer interest. Microsoft unveiled its upcoming line of Surface tablets during a press conference last month and while pricing has not yet been announced, the slate is expected to launch this fall.
