Images of an unannounced HTC (2498) tablet were published on Twitter on Tuesday evening courtesy of evleaks. The device appears to have a 10.1-inch display with an odd bottom mounted front-facing and rear camera. The mysterious tablet features a large empty space beneath the display, and it bears a striking resemblance to an iMac computer. On the plus side, if these images are authentic, HTC will be one of the first companies to offer a tablet that doesn’t resemble Apple’s iPad. The Taiwanese vendor has previously offered two Android tablets — the Flyer and Jetstream — though neither slate achieved any mainstream success. It is thought that HTC may announce the new tablet during the IFA Trade show in Berlin this week. Additional images follow below.
