Photos of unannounced HTC phone surface, could be headed to Verizon

BGR exclusively reported this past April that HTC (2498) is planning to launch a new 5-inch smartphone on Verizon Wireless’s (VZ) this fall. The device is said to feature a full 1080p HD display along with a quad-core Krait CPU, Adreno 320 graphics and support for the company’s Scribe stylus. Pictures of a mysterious HTC smartphone were published on a Chinese forum over the weekend and although they have since been taken down, it is speculated that the device in question may be Verizon’s 5-inch superphone, according to The Verge. Beyond a Beats Audio logo on the back of the device, further details are unknown. A second image of the handset follows below.
