Apple iPhone 5 preorder, demand

Apple (AAPL) has finally chimed in with their take on iPhone 5 preorder sales, and in short, they are “blown away by the customer response.” In a statement to The Loop, Apple also goes on to say that, “pre-orders for iPhone 5 have been incredible” and are all spoken for if you want to get your iPhone 5 on launch day. AT&T and Verizon have also moved through their allotted inventory for launch day delivery, not pushing shipments back to more than a week in most cases. Sprint also seems to be just about sold out, with possibly some 64GB units left, but that’s not confirmed. At this point, if you want to get an iPhone 5 and didn’t pre-order, it looks like visiting an actual Apple, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, Target, Wal-Mart, or other retail store is about your only option.
