Hewlett-Packard (HPQ) is on a roll. The company unveiled a trio of ultra-portable Windows 8 machines late last month and then followed up with a trio of All-in-One Windows 8 PCs last week. Now, the company has announced a trio of upcoming Windows 8 notebooks alongside a number of business machines and accessories. Starting with the high-end HP ENVY m4 pictured above, this sleek Windows 8 laptop features the latest Intel Core i3 and i5 processors along with up to 8GB of RAM, as much as 1TB of storage and an in-built optical drive. The sleek laptop also sports a 14-inch high-definition display, Beats Audio and fingerprint security.

Moving on to more affordable notebook PCs, the company also took the wraps off the HP Pavilion Sleekbook 14 and the Pavilion Sleekbook 15 on Thursday. For the most part, these laptops differ only in display size: The Sleekbook 14 sports a 14-inch screen and the Sleekbook 15 features a 15.6-inch display. Beyond that, key features include keyboards with numeric keypads, HDMI outputs, USB 3.0 ports, up to 1TB of storage and a variety of colorful cases.

The Sleekbooks also include a nice feature called CoolSense, which is present in the ENVY m4 as well. This automatic feature uses onboard sensors to determine when a laptop is actually being used on someone’s lap. When it is, the notebook will automatically cool down a bit to make usage more comfortable.

The ENVY m4 will start at $899.99 and the Pavilion Sleekbook 14 and 15 will start at $499.99 and $599.99, respectively. All three devices will be available beginning October 26th. HP’s full press release follows below.
