LG’s (06657011) new Google (GOOG)-centric Nexus smartphone could get its first public viewing by the end of the month. Per The Verge, it seems French newspaper Le Figaro is reporting that LG will officially unveil the new device on October 29th, the same day that Microsoft (MSFT) officially takes the wraps off of Windows Phone 8. The Verge says the device will likely hit the shelves a few weeks later in mid-November. The new LG Nexus phone is rumored to feature a quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 1280×768-pixel display and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
