A reliable source hit us up with some intel saying AT&T is releasing it as a quiet update, and will not be shipping any BlackBerry 8820′s to all stores natio...

We recently jacked someone for got some hands on time with the new Novatel Wireless Merlin XU870. This bad boy runs off of full HSDPA/UMTS/EDGE/GPRS and supports all 5 bands of service. After opening the package I was happy to see how compact the device was.  No giant nub hanging out of your laptop with this unit folks, just a small antenna with a flip up extender. My first go at this was on a Macbook Pro Core 2 Duo.  Since a few days ago Apple officially released support for this on its website, I ...

Andy Ihnatko of the Chicago Sun Times was one of the lucky few who was able to demo the new Apple iPhone after the Macworld keynote and he had nothing but good things to say. He states, "After 30 seconds, I was already typing faster with the iPhone than I ever have with any other phone". He goes on to praise the unit and its "liquid" smooth OS but he also went on to say that Apple refuses to allow any 3rd party software developers to produce apps for the device, but we already knew that.  This little device is one of the most expensive Bluetooth earpieces on the market so you’d expect an incredible level of audio quality, right? For almost $650 and sub-par performance I guess I won’t be playing Secret Service Agent anytime soon.Read
