LG recently began teasing a new smartphone that could very well make its debut during the Mobile World Congress trade show later this month. LG officially announced the Optimus LTE on Tuesday. The phone will make its debut in South Korea and offers a large 4.5-inch display with a “True HD IPS Display” that has an incredibly sharp 1280 x 720-pixel resolution. AT&T’s latest Android tablet, the HTC Jetstream, is now available from AT&T for $700 with a two-year data contract. AT&T announced Android 3.1-powered tablet last week and it is equipped with a 10.1-inch display, a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, an 8-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video chats. Earlier this month, HTC purchased a controlling stake in Beats Audio and a new phone called the Runnymede 2 could join the HTC Vigor as one of the first devices to offer Beats technology. HP’s TouchPad Go was recently approved by the the Federal Communications Commission, which revealed some information on the unannounced tablet.
