According to sources at Taiwanese handset makers, Microsoft is set to deliver Windows Mobile 6.5 to handset makers in the second half of 2009. Handsets running the newest OS are expected to debut some time in Q3 2009, though most manufacturers will likely be targeting the holiday season for launch. The leak focuses on new handsets and provides no indication whether Window Mobile 6.5 will be provided for the current crop of 6.1 handsets.
