Yesterday, we broke news about Bell Canada’s plans to offer a $30 per month 6 GB smartphone data plan that permits iPad users to share their 6 GB monthly data bucket with their iPad for an additional $10 fee. Today, on the eve of the iPhone 4 launch, Rogers Wireless is following suit. Rogers customers will be able to purchase a $30 per month 6 GB data bucket as long as you sign a new 3-year contract. The iPad sharing option is explained like this:

Starting July 30, and for a limited time until Sept. 30, customers on a 6 GB plan will be able to share data between iPhones and iPads for an extra $20 (plus Government Regulatory Recovery Fee). For details, visit a Rogers retail location.

Bell Canada has announced that it will be launching the Samsung Galaxy S — bearing the name Vibrant — in the coming months. A splash page has been put up at http://galaxys.bell.ca and one of our “Ninjas from the North” was kind enough to shoot us an official Bell memo. The memo is a tad light on details (as in it doesn’t have any), but since the handset carries the same name as T-Mobile’s Galaxy S flavor (flavour for those of you in Canada) we can assume that the specs are the same; 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 4″ WVGA Super AMOLED display, 5 megapixel camera, and Android 2.1 (soon to be upgraded to 2.2). No word yet on a specific release date, but we’re hearing July from our sources. Hit the jump to check out the memo.

In case you thought you were imagining things before, Bell Canada will definitely be adding the iPhone to its lineup following on the heels of the Palm Pre and BlackBerry Bold. Sure, this thing will no doubt come with exorbitant data fees, but if you can stomach the monthly bill, Samsung’s decision to sell the Instinct to our friends up North could be a pretty attractive proposition. The company has announced that they will begin offering the Instinct in conjunction with Bell Canada, beginning August 8th. As a quick refresher, the Instinct sports a full touchscreen, EV-DO Rev. A, GPS, a full HTML browser, and much more, an in a relatively attractive little package. Sure, it’s no iPhone, but for those that are tethered to a CDMA account for whatever reason, this might help to fill the void. Expect to be able to nab it for $150 on a 3-year contract, $250 on a 2-year bid, $400 on a 1-year contract, and $450 with no strings attached.
