It looks like Verizon is jumping on the bandwagon and getting ready to offer free access to Wi-Fi hotspots for FiOS and DSL subscribers. The first thing that comes to mind is, well, where exactly are Verizon hotspots located? They don’t seem to be quite as ubiquitous as AT&T’s — a company that already offers free Wi-Fi to its U-Verse subscribers — but Verizon is teaming up with Boingo to provide the access.
