Verizon Wireless will soon offer discounts on monthly plans to smartphone users who subscribe to a family plan, The Wall Street Journal reports. The new promotion, which starts Friday and will allow sign ups through January 7th, will require customers to have smartphones with $29.99 per month unlimited data plans.
