You’ve waited long enough Canada, and now your time in the sun has finally arrived — the Palm Pre is now available in Canada from Bell. Palm’s first webOS-powered handset is now on sale for $199.95 on a 3-year contact (seriously, Bell, what the hell is the deal with this nickel fetish?). The last time we heard anything having to do with a release time frame for Bell’s Palm Pre, early August appeared to be the target — pending adequate levels of inventory of course. Looks like the rumor of a dirt cheap Rogers BlackBerry 8220 Pearl Flip from a few months ago was true after all. Despite no official announcement of pricing or release, Canada’s Future Shop has listed the device as for sale “in-store only” for $49 on a 3-year contract. So many people got excited a few days ago after learning the HTC Touch Pro would be $239.99 with a contract from Future Shop.
