Apple is in “crunch mode” to line up apps that will be used for on-stage demonstrations during the company’s iPad 3 launch event, which is said to be scheduled for early next month, TheNextWeb reports. Talk about a shameless early adopter tax… T-Mobile released the Samsung Comeback just a week ago and it has already chopped the handset’s price down by $55 to $74.99 after MIR — a 42 percent drop! The Samsung Highlight, released one week earlier on July 15th, has also been trimmed from $149.99 to a still-too-much-for-too-little $129.99. Actually, both handsets are still priced a bit high if you ask us. For anyone with a tween child/sibling whose birthday is coming up soon, here’s a ref...

It’s not a T-Mobile myTouch 3G (aka the dumbest name in marketing history), but Samsung is going to take care of that feature-phone segment with a new 3G handset — or at least try to. The Samsung Highlight will be available this month if you’re interested. Well, we can’t have the new Dash 3G getting lonely now can we? All set for a July 15th launch alongside Tmo’s updated Dash (aka HTC Snap), our ninja just dropped screen caps of this entry-levelish full touchscreen offering from Samsung on us. It definitely has the tween demo lined up in its sights with specs that include a 3.1 megapixel camera with auto-focus, video recording support, Bluetooth, GPS, multimedia player, integrated IM and a microSD slot. No word on pricing just yet but our ninja say...
