Security firm Trusteer warned this week of a trojan that is capable of stealing an individual’s credit card information from hotels. The firm’s intelligence team discovered the remote access trojan being sold on underground forums for $280. The malware is designed to capture screenshots from point-of-sale applications that access credit card numbers and expiration dates. On Monday, gaming site Major Nelson wrote that Activision has revealed it will launch the next expansion pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops for Xbox 360 on May 3rd. Dubbed “Escalation,” the new downloadable content — for Xbox LIVE subscribers — will sport five new maps, including four that can be played in multiplayer mode. Marriott announced on yesterday that they will begin offering a “Wii and You” hotel room package that includes a Nintendo Wii gaming system. The specially built Wii console will come with 20 different pre-installed games (no CD required) including Mario Cart, Super Mario Galaxy, WiiSports, and Wii Fit. Rooms with unlimited in-room use are available now for a “small premium” at 5 different US locations. Nice idea to liven up a boring hotel room stay but we sure hope Marriott has install...
