HTC Touch Diamond not working out for you? We get it, you want a physical QWERTY keyboard. Oh, Touch Pro a little too big? You want something a little more simpler, huh? Usually carriers wait until a device has been on the market a while before re-releasing it in myriad colors. If these promo shots are to be believed, however, it looks like Sprint might be planning a preemptive color strike. The shots depict the upcoming Sprint version of the HTC Touch Diamond in full red regalia. When we reviewed the HTC Touch Diamond, we noted that one of the most impressive features of the handset was its excellent web browser. The gesture support, text reformatting, and speed placed it on par with the likes of the iPhone’s Safari as one of the best mobile browsers experiences available to consumers. Get ready for this one, folks. HTC has just announced that Telus will be the first North American carrier to offer the new HTC Touch Diamond. The handset will be offered “later this summer” for the low price of $149.99, though you’ll have to sign away 3 years of your wireless life. Telus also offers some pretty attractive data options, including a $15/month plan for unlimited email and IM, and $30/month for unlimited email, IM, and browsing. Not bad at all.
