French gadget enthusiast blog Nowhereelse has reportedly received a copy of an invitation to a mysterious press event early next month. It seems as if those lovely now almost yearly launch parties are going to start happening pretty soon. T-Mobile has started sending out various invites to corporate customers (we’ve been sent two completely different-looking invites from two different connects) all describing a mythical new BlackBerry with Wi-Fi-enabled calling. With the Storm coming out soon, Blackberry is throwing a little shindig in Los Angeles later this evening with Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age providing the entertainment! A few who were in the know sent text messages to a specific number to try to win tickets to the show. The following morning, the winners were sent text messages with instructions on how to get into the show. Guess who’s going to be there?
