Apparently Nokia’s online sale last week was pretty effective because the Finnish manufacturer has decided to give it another go. This time around the sale is good at both Nokia Flagship Stores — in New York and Chicago — and online as well for those who don’t live near a shop. Here’s how this one shapes up:5800            $280.00E63              $195.00E66              $275.00E71              $285.00E75              ...

Rumored to be a portion of a stock sheet from Best Buy a “major national retailer”, this image above is reportedly reveals the release dates of a variety of upcoming handsets. No, there’s nothing too exciting there but if the source is reliable it does indeed fill in a few question marks that have been looming — namely the E71x release date. So let’s have a look… Starting with AT&T, the document lists both the Samsung i627 “Jackfrost” and blue Samsung A767 &...

Plenty of time has passed since the Palm’s Pre announcement at CES earlier this month but we still don’t mind when new coverage pops up – especially if HD videos are involved. In this interview with Palm’s VP of Design Peter Skillman, we also get to see Palm address the Nokia N95 in relation to the Pre for the first time. Skillman is very tactful in his criticism of the N95 8GB Serko hands him and describes the industrial design of the Nokia handset as having “a lot of topologica...

Seesmic, the quasi-popular video micro-blogging site, just announced the release of their app for the Nokia N95. The app will allow you to record videos with your phone and upload them so you can have video conversations with all your buddies – well, all your buddies who happen to own N95s or are registered on Seesmic, which aren’t that many. According to Wikipedia, there are only 20,000 users to date and about 70,000 viewers per month. But who knows? Maybe this app will become huge and you’...

He’s a witch! Stone him! Ok, ok… Put your pitchforks and torches down. Thai developer Sittiphol Phanvilai, creator of Mobitubia, is not a witch (or a warlock). He is however, a talented developer and engineer. Phanvilai’s latest research project is a doozy; he essentially transforms a Nokia N95 into a smart board with multitouch support. “Multitouch” may not be entirely accurate of course, since use of the N95′s camera means he doesn’t actually need to touch anything....

S60 people, stop drooling over the E71 for a few minutes so that we can give you some important news. Remember how we reported on the guy from Nokia stated that the new v20 firmware for the N95 NAM would be out in early June? Yeah, he totally lied. Ok, maybe he didn’t lie and plans were just changed a bit. As of early this morning the updated firmware is available for all to enjoy, possibly to celebrate Memorial Day. Whatever the case may be, it’s taken entirely too long but it’s here so bac...
