Apparently Nokia’s online sale last week was pretty effective because the Finnish manufacturer has decided to give it another go. This time around the sale is good at both Nokia Flagship Stores — in New York and Chicago — and online as well for those who don’t live near a shop. Here’s how this one shapes up:5800 $280.00E63 $195.00E66 $275.00E71 $285.00E75 ...

Just because it’s Christmas doesn’t mean that the mobile phone industry is safe from leaks. HoFo user clearskies08 has posted pictures which are purported to be from an internal Rogers and Fido flagship presentation. They reveal all of the flagship smartphones that the two carriers plan to release in 2009. Virtually every single phone in the line-up has been written about before in one way or another so we’ll spare you their specs, but rest assured, if even one quarter of the phones in the p...

For those who have managed to remain completely unaffected by the current state of the global economy – and who really dig Kung Fu – this may be the best thing to happen to you since your money. Nokia China has just made a special edition N96 available and it packs all kinds of punch (sorry). Sort of. Score one more for team Nokia – sort of. Remember that $800 CompUSA price tag on the Bold that everyone laughed at? Well, it looks like the condition might be contagious. The good news for all you Nokia fans out there is that your favorite Finnish phone manufacturer managed to land another handset at a major US retailer. The bad news… It’s $800. It turns out the rumors were indeed true and Best Buy Mobile will indeed be carrying the new flagship Nseries. Even better is the fact that not only...

It seems as though it has taken forever but word on the street is that the successor to the Nokia flagship Nseries throne is set to drop on October 1. The rumor surrounds a UK release mind you, but Nokia has been pretty good lately in terms of making its handsets available in various regions at around the same time. We’re sure you know all there is to know about the N96 but just in case you need a refresher, it’s a beast. 16 GB of internal memory, microSDHC support for another 16 GB, sexy dual-sli...

It looks like the changing of the guard may happen sooner than some would have thought. According to the play.com shop, Nokia’s N96 will begin shipping on July 31st for a whopping £600 or $1,185 as of today’s exchange rate. It will be interesting to see what price point it gets in the US, but our friends across the pond may end up saving money by flying over here to snag one. Ok, maybe not. The N96 as you know, is the peppy heir to the flagship Nseries throne and will be the second Feature Pack 2...
