As reported, the G2 from T-Mobile is up for pre-order — for existing customers — starting today. The pre-order window will last from now until October 4 and the device will be on-sale to the general public starting on October 6. You can pre-purchase yourself a G2 for 249 American dollars and a $50 mail-in-rebate will bring the total cost down to $199. Current customers interested in the early-bird special can direct their browsers to g2.t-mobile.com, login, and order up.

In a press release today, Microsoft officially announced its Arc Touch mouse. As the folks in Redmond explain: “The Arc Touch Mouse [is] the first mouse designed to flatten for portability and pop up for comfort. The new mouse features Microsoft’s first touch scroll strip for easy navigation — just move a finger slowly for controlled scrolling or flick for hyperfast scrolling. Windows-based PC users will love packing up their laptop bags without the added bump of a mouse, as the Arc Touch Mouse flattens with just the touch of a finger.” The mouse is priced at $69.99 and is available for pre-order at Amazon.com, Buy.com, and BestBuy.com; the mouse will ship in “early December.” Hit the read link for the official press annoucement.

If you plan on reserving yourself a Samsung EPIC 4G tomorrow, here’s your backup plan… The Shack. RadioShack has announced that they too will carry Sprint’s EPIC 4G smartphone and, like Sprint, will be taking pre-orders for the new device starting tomorrow. Well, it certainly is not the BlackBerry Storm but the LG enV Touch must rank high up on the Verizon Wireless ladder as it is seemingly getting the same pre-order treatment. Starting today, Best Buy Mobile is launching a pre-order sale for the upcoming LG enV Touch. A mere $50 deposit will guarantee that you can walk out of Best Buy holding this upcoming touchscreen QWERTY clamshell on its June 5th launch date. We are not sure that this handset warrants such “first day sellout hysteria” status but if have five sawbucks burning a hole in your pocket, then what do you have to lose? Those felling a bit more adventurous can try their hand at scoring an enV Touch extra early from Verizon Wireless. Several members over on Howard Forums have reported success in ordering the handset early from telesales and at least one or two have already received the phone.
