LG officially unveiled the latest addition to its Black Label series, the BL40 Chocolate. A bit of deja vu as this handset has already starred in its own photo shoot and made its unofficial YouTube debut. The red-trimmed handset has a 4-inch wide screen 800×345 pixel display with a unique 21:9 aspect ratio, 5 megapixel camera with Schneider-Kreuznach lens, 7.2Mbps UMTS/HSDPA connectivity, Wi-Fi, and aGPS. As far as release details, unfortunately all we know about this sleek and sexy handset is that it will debut in Q3 2009 in 54 countries worldwide.
The last and only time we talked about the RAZR3 aka Ruby was when we reported that Motorola had pulled the plug on it in order to allocate more resources towards developing Android-based handsets. But now thanks to Mobile-Review, press images of the RAZR3, apparently to be named the Ruby VE1, have surfaced which leads us to believe one of two things — either these are old photos or there is indeed a possibility that the clam shell with 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi and a 5 megapixel shooter might actually find a way to market. Now, there is also the possibility that Motorola did not kill off the RAZR3 but simply delayed it while trying to find a new OS —

Now, there is also the possibility that Motorola did not kill off the RAZR3 but simply delayed it while trying to find a new OS — something that would be necessary as this phone was rumored to be running on Symbian’s now defunct UIQ OS. At this point we’re not even sure anyone cares enough to figure this out.

Earlier today we reported that Nokia may be set to release the Tube to the world on October 2nd in London. While announcing and releasing a handset in the same breath is hardly Nokia’s style, its first S60 Touch offering has been delayed enough that our Finnish friends may have gotten fed up. A leak of the first official-looking press photo of the Tube further supports an announcement sooner rather than later. We know the specs, have seen some spy photos, secured a tentative launch date, and now we have a press photo. Not much more left to do other than kick back and wait for this bad boy to get officially outed. [via UnwiredView] Read [Google Translate Link]
