This one is for you hardcore Sony Ericsson fans. The folks over at SEMC blog compiled a list of the upcoming Sony Ericsson phones with their codenames and known features. No new smartphones but a bunch of Cybershots, a few Walkmans and one phone rocking HSUPA are on the near horizon. The rumored early 2009 lineup will include the following:

  • Release date: the end of Q1

  • 3.2-Mp camera
  • One of the K550’s successors

These are all rumored so don’t bet your life savings that they will all come to market. SE does have a track record of canceling phones and with its lukewarm Q3 performance, it may be more inclined to toss one or two of these overboard. Only time will tell. That stylish Sony Ericsson slider, the Rika, has been given a model name: the Walkman W705. The W705 will be the Walkman version (obviously) of the G705 and will share the same specifications:

• GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900
• 2.4″display (320×240)
• 3.2 megapixel camera
• Wi-Fi
• Bluetooth 2.0 (A2DP)
• aGPS

The phone is expected to be announced later this month and available for sale in February 2009. With the G705 expected to head stateside sometime in Q1 2009, we hope this sleek and sexy slider will follow suit. Can’t you just wait to buy some overpriced Sony Ericcson phones from a Sony Style store?

The not-yet-announced Sony Ericsson Rika just made its first appearance in luscious red over at justAMP. The Rika appears to be a pimped-out Walkman version of the G705 slider with a front-facing camera and possibly 3g under the hood. More information should be forthcoming soon as a sweet-looking phone like this can’t be kept under wraps for too much longer. One more shot after the jump.
