GameFly announced on Wednesday it will soon offer a new service called “Unlimited PC Play” that will allow gamers to download an unlimited amount of games to their Windows or Mac computer. Much like Netflix’s business model, GameFly will provide instant access to more than 8,000 rental discs or more than 1,500 instant downloads for a monthly fee. The service will require a desktop client that will include news, a feed of HD trailers and screen shots of the latest games. GameFly also said there will be a social component that will allow gamers to interact with one another in real-time. A preliminary build of Microsoft’s Windows 8 desktop operating system has made its way onto the web. Available via illegal download, the software does not seem to have a look and feel all that different from its predecessor — Windows 7. The software bears the build number 7850 and is, in all likelihood, far from what we’ll see when officially released. WebOS enthusiast blog PreCentral.net on Thursday published a series of screenshots from HP’s upcoming webOS 3.0 operating system for the TouchPad tablet. The images were pulled from an emulator as opposed to an actual device but we can still see several areas of the OS such as the Web browser, the virtual keyboard, Bing Maps, the music player and the messaging app. BGR took a hands-on look at the HP TouchPad when it was announced in February. We found the tablet to be quite impressive, especially in its integration with webOS-powered HP smartphones. HP’s CEO said in January that the company would be narrowing the gap between device announcements and launches, yet HP still has not announced release details for the TouchPad or the two smartphones announced in early February, the Pre 3 and Veer. Hit the break for more images of webOS 3.0.

RIM has posted some additional screen shots of their yet-to-be-released-or-have-a-release-date-announced BlackBerry 6 operating system. You may recall that earlier in the month RIM provided a few screen shots displaying some of BlackBerry 6′s media capabilities. One of our trusty ninjas just blessed us with some exclusive iPhone 3.0 shots. Things like detailing a video recording application, more settings options, an accessibility entry, and even showing that Apple could possibly be integrating voice dialing, too. UPDATE: Our ninja hit us up to add some following goodies:

• The final 3.0 firmware is said to support OpenGL ES v2.0.
• There are various references to “ChinaBrick” in some of the 3.0 beta firmwares. Could this a reference to a Chinese-specific iPhone with no 3G and no Wi-Fi? It would be pretty comical if it was…
• We’re also told that there’s a very, very strong possibility video recording will be specifically for the new hardware iPhone and not backwards compatible with the iPhone 3G. Not something entirely new, just more strikes against current users getting some video love, though!

We told y’all Verizon wasn’t the only carrier looking to bring us some Netbook love. AT&T has been rumored to be exploring potential options in regards to carrying Netbooks in stores, but have a look at what one of our ninjas dug up. Yes, your eyes are not playing tricks on you. You’re looking at screen shots of AT&T’s internal system showing Dell Inspiron Mini 9′s and 12′s. There is currently no release date nor price point listed, but we’d wager they are going to go for $99 on a 2-year with data card plan just like Verizon.
