New spy shots of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2, codenamed “Vulcan”, have emerged from the forums over at fanklub.se. The successor to the current X1 is looking dapper in its black casing, black keyboard and silver bezel. On the back, the Windows Mobile handset sports an 8 megapixel camera with flash. What you see is what we know as no other details about this phone have been leaked. If it follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, we should see it launch sometime in 2011.[Via SEMC Blog]Read

Courtesy of the folks at Code Android Singapore, we now have our first live images of the rumored Android-based HTC Hero. Everyone can breathe a sigh of relief as the phone, first pictured in glorious hot pink, is shown with a typical black matte finish. The handset resembles a shoehorn the HTC Magic sans trackball and has a chin that would make even Jay Leno proud. One of the images also reveals the presence of a rather large round hole suggesting the presence of a 3.5mm headphone jack. Woo! With HTC’s...

It has been a month since we have heard anything new about the Sony Ericsson C510 “Kate”, the low-end Cybershot Sony has on tap for 2009. We just want to warn all you Sunday newspaper readers out there: Don’t be alarmed when you flip to the Best Buy ad and see the Storm front and center on the Best Buy Mobile page for this Sunday. Yup, there it is in all its glory, supposedly available for sale today. It is even listed with a free Plantronics 360 bluetooth headset. Don’t go running down to Best Buy just yet though. It wont be there as these fliers were printed before the latest delay that pushed the Storm launch to November 23rd fo...

A spy shot of the Samsung i770 next to its predecessor, the i760, emerged on Tuesday courtesy of Howard Forums member TK093. The upcoming i770 is longer and a lot slimmer than the i760. The i770 maintains its slim profile by shedding the slide out keyboard of the i760 in favor of a full front Qwerty keyboard. The front of the phone is dominated visually by a giant silver ring that encircles an optical touchpad. Similar to the i780, the optical touchpad can be used to control the onscreen cursor. Confused by t...
