After rumors about the HTC Supersonic have been swirling around the Internet for a few months, it is now time for the Wall Street Journal to chime in and contribute to the hype surrounding Sprint’s first WiMAX handset. In a mere few months, the HTC Supersonic has gone from being a name on a list to the star of its own home video. Spotted on YouTube is a short, sweet, and dark video that shows the HTC Supersonic in action. In an interview with Forbes Magazine, Sprint revealed that its first WiMAX enabled handset will launch in the first half of 2010, a few months ahead of its projected 2H 2010 launch. Paget Alves, Sprint’s president of Business Markets, confirmed that the handset and its 4G connectivity will target businesses and government agencies as well as consumers. Mr. Blurrycam strikes again and this time, he brings along his friend Mr. Grainycam to shoot a few quick shots of the HTC Supersonic. The handset in the photos has the look of a typical HTC prototype device with its minimalistic appearance and name emblazoned on the back.
