We just had some hands-on time with the HTC 7 Pro; which is due to hit Sprint sometime in the first half of 2011. The device sports a full QWERTY keyboard, 1 GHz processor, 5 megapixel camera with LED flash — complete with horizontal sliding mechanism — and a 3.6-inch display. Sadly, the unit wasn’t functioning, so we took a handful of images for you to have a look at.Click on over to our Sprint HTC 7 Pro Gallery! (more…)

This morning at Nokia World, the Finnish mobile OEM showed some love to their E-series business line by introducing the E7 handset. The E7 — which will be available in Q4 of 2010 — packs a 4-inch, polarized, AMOLED display that has a 640 x360 resolution. The device has a peta-band WCDMA radio, quad-band GSM radio, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, and GPS. Aside from enough radios to cook a chicken, the E7 also features a full-QWERTY slide and tilt keyboard, 16 GB of mass storage, 8 megapixel camera w...

Businessmen and women have been able to get their hands on it for the past 10 days, but starting today AT&T will sell the HTC Tilt2 to us regular folk. The second Windows Phone Windows Mobile 6.5 handset to be offered by AT&T after the Pure, the Tilt2 is available for $299.99 on a 2-year contract after a $50 mail-in rebate or $499.99 contract free. But we have to ask for the sake of stirring up a little Sunday discussion: Considering the fact that all four carriers in the US offer up the Tilt2 in one ...

While many of you spent last night watching grown men pummel one another into submission, we here at BGR put in some over time so we could get to the bottom of the pricing of some upcoming AT&T smartphones. And just as you would expect, we’ve come through. First off we have two HTC offerings, the Tilt2 (Touch Pro2) and Pure (Touch Diamond2). On contract and after applying $50 MIRs, we’ve heard the Tilt2 will be $299.99 while the Pure will go for $199.99. Off contract, you’re looking at $...

Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon and AT&T? You bet. The first live image of an AT&T-branded HTC Touch Pro2 has emerged proving once and for all that, yes, the device codenamed Fortress is indeed headed to AT&T. It’s way too early to speculate on price and release date (or is it?), but we do have something fairly interesting to report. If you took a close look at our exclusive leak of AT&T’s upcoming launch list you’ll have noticed that the HTC Tilt 2 was listed as model number ST737...

Looking for your AT&T fix for the remainder of 2008? We’ve got you covered. The carrier has a number of exciting new handsets planned for the coming months, which should be good news for both the carrier and consumers. Everyone loves selection, right? Right. First up, AT&T is planning to release the BlackBerry Curve 8320 (yeah, we’re scratching our heads too), and the BlackBerry Bold by the end of Q3. On the Windows Mobile side of things, AT&T is planning to drop the Samsung BlackJack ...

The long, cold wait for an official HTC TyTN II Windows Mobile 6.1 build will soon be over. According to several sources, HTC is in the final stages of preparing an official firmware update. The revamped OS will be made available for HTC branded devices sometime over the next several days, with an AT&T version for the Tilt coming sometime after that. Nothing unexpected in the actual update, with threaded SMS, a Getting Started Wizard, and modest performance improvements topping the list of changes. WeR...

Soon the days of worrying about accidental damage to your ATT Tilt, or other PDA device, will be long gone. While we have yet to confirm this with AT&T themselves, it looks like the wireless company is getting ready to roll out a new insurance program that will cover all of the devices that they currently offer. Previous insurance programs have only been available for low-cost phones, with high-end smartphones left out to dry. Beginning June 2nd, however, that will be a thing of the past. For $4.99/month,...
