Remember when HTC devices used to look like they were all business and no fun? As we all know, they’ve recently taken a turn with more elegant, classy and sexy designs. Can anyone really say that the Touch Diamond or the Fuze are ugly phones? One & Company Design, Inc. is the San Francisco-based lifestyle design firm responsible for the latest crop of HTC beauties, and HTC is seemingly so please with the firm’s work that it has just announced an acquisition. One & Co. have won several awar...

The CDMA world is still waiting on a firm release date for Verizon’s iteration of the sleek HTC Touch Diamond and a new rumor might not exactly be the news we were hoping for. Initially it was thought that HTC’s sexy touchscreen handset would be headed to Big Red in October, then back in September we learned that internal training might not even take place until December. The latest rumor now puts the release date at some point in January of next year. Let’s hope we’re still looking at...

So many people got excited a few days ago after learning the HTC Touch Pro would be $239.99 with a contract from Future Shop. Well, it turns out there was just a slight error in their pricing and the Touch Pro is really $649.99 without a contract (actually, the Touch Pro was removed from the site completely at the time this post was written). It seems like it was yet to be subsidized at the awesome price listed in the ad and one might think it’s not going that route any time soon. Now, the HTC Touch Dia...

HTC’s third quarter earnings are up 30% thanks to the crazy popularity of their Touch series devices. The only speedbump they hit is the 4.9% drop in profit due to shipment delays, but it doesn’t look like it’s hitting them too hard. The Touch-Diamond and Touch Pro has been receiving some pretty decent fanfare and interest in people who are looking to move to smartphones or switching from their current devices. The recent explosion in sales puts HTC right behind Nokia and RIM in terms of the...
