If you’re a Verizon subscriber looking to grab a new handset within the next several months, you’re about to have a lot lot be happy about. This one strikes us as a bit fishy, especially considering the impending arrival of the Palm Treo 800w, but word on the street is that the aging Treo 700wx is set to receive a Windows Mobile 6 upgrade. Great news, but even more suspicious is that the upgrade specifically mentions WM 6.0, leaving out any trace of the current generation WM 6.1 version that is currently making the rounds.
