Oh you thought we fell off. Nope — we’ve just been tearing apart BlackBerry’s latest flagship over the past week or so and our review is finally perfectly crafted. Well, what’s the next step to make TweetGenius better, faster,...

We just got some hands on time with the now infamous BlackBerry 8520 (code-named Gemini). Optical trackball? Ooooh yeah. While there hasn’t been too much time to play with them, early impressions are definitely fitting in with what CrackBerry reported; real solid feel and the optical trackball is awesome and makes your brand new BlackBerry feel outdated. Literally. It makes what you have feel primitive. We’ve been able to confirm the handset is going to hit T-Mobile USA in Q4 of this year, obvious...

For those of you who haven’t yet fainted after reading the title, we have something extra special to share with you. It is a new BlackBerry Twitter application called TweetGenius — yes, it’s something that my team has cooked up, and we think the world of it. Dossy Shiobara, BlackBerry developer extraordinaire and myself have worked countless hours on bringing this application from a concept to a full-fledged Twitter communication tool. Up until now there have been a bunch of new Twitter clie...
