Samsung has released white versions of several of the company’s mobile devices lately. While the back of the various devices would be white, the front bezel around the screen typically remained black — that is, until now. It would appear that Samsung has been working on a white bezel to integrate into the company’s future milky-colored devices; a white Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus have emerged in Vietnam and feature truly all white design. The specs of the Tab 10.1 and Tab 7.0 P...

AT&T may soon launch a white version of its Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket smartphone. The carrier introduced a black model of the phone earlier this month; it is a bit bigger and wider than AT&T’s Galaxy S II and is one of just two of AT&T’s smartphones that offer support for the carrier’s budding 4G LTE network. Samsung’s Galaxy S II devices, the Focus S and even the Infuse 4G all look so similar to one another that the sleek and simplistic white design makes it look much...

While Apple’s white iPod touch is the same iPod touch that millions and millions of people own and are familiar with — just in another color — it’s the first device from Apple to ship with iOS 5 pre-installed. The experience right out of the box with iOS 5 is now perfect, requiring no computer whatsoever to get going. And while this doesn’t yet apply to the general public since the only people with iOS 5 back-ups are developers, you can also effortlessly restore all of your backed-up in...

SKUs for a revised iPhone 4, believed to be the iPhone 4S, and new iPod touch SKUs have surfaced in Apple’s inventory system, 9to5Mac reported on Wednesday. The iPhone 4 SKUs reinforce rumors that Apple will introduce a watered-down version of the device, perhaps with just 8GB of memory, as the budget-friendly “iPhone 4S.” The listings also lend credence to early analyst reports that suggested Apple will not make any hardware changes to the iPod touch. Apple may instead only introduce a whit...

Apple will announce a new version of its iPod touch during the first week of October when it takes the wraps off of the next-generation iPhone, according to MacRumors. Apple will not redesign or revamp the iPod touch in any major way. It will instead launch a white model of the popular multimedia player with slight tweaks to the ambient light sensor and with the addition of an oleophobic screen coating. We have seen plenty of rumors that suggest Apple will launch the iPhone 4s as a budget-friendly option alongside the iPhone 5, and now the device has reportedly been listed in one of AT&T’s internal systems. According to a screenshot published by Engadget, AT&T is gearing up to offer a white iPhone 4s, possibly alongside the existing iPhone 4. The iPhone 5 isn’t mentioned at all in the carrier’s system. Apple on Tuesday began selling unlocked iPhone 4 handsets in the U.S. a day earlier than expected. The smartphone is now available in 16GB for $649 or 32GB for $749, and both models come in black or white. Other manufacturers, most notably Nokia and Sony, have sold unlocked smartphones in the U.S. for quite some time. Neither company has seen much success with unlocked handsets thus far, though Apple’s approach is somewhat different. Apple’s primary sales channels in the U.S. are undoubtedly car...
