You Can Claim Up To $95 From Apple If You Own An iPhone 15 Pro Or iPhone 16 Pro - Here's How

If you purchased an iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 16 between June 2024 and March 2025, then there could be a chance that Apple owes you some money. The payouts are part of an ongoing lawsuit that popped up after Apple's original Apple Intelligence push in 2024. Apple spent a lot of time promoting a much smarter version of Siri alongside the iPhone 16. However, those features didn't arrive as planned, and Apple eventually had to confirm that the more personalized Siri was delayed. This led to lawsuits that accused Apple of false advertising over features buyers couldn't actually use. Now, almost two years later, the biggest features Apple highlighted are just starting to arrive with the iPhone 18 and iPhone Duo.

The lawsuit has now ended in a $250 million class action settlement, which has left owners of certain iPhone devices eligible for anywhere from $25 to $95 per device. The devices covered under the settlement include the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max, and the iPhone 16e.

While Apple still denies it did anything wrong, the company has agreed to put $250 million into a settlement fund. The claims opened on September 21, 2026, and you have until December 21 to submit yours. There are a few eligibility requirements, though, and simply owning one of the covered iPhones isn't enough.

While all the phones listed above are eligible, you'll also need to live in the United States and have originally purchased one of those devices in the U.S. between June 10, 2024 and March 29, 2025. The device must also have been purchased for personal or business use, not as a resale from another party. Some eligible iPhone owners may have received a letter or email about the settlement. If you did, then you can use the Claim ID and PIN provided in the letter to claim your payout. Even if you didn't receive a letter, you can head to the settlement's official website and choose "File A Claim" to get started.

Enter your contact information and some additional details that will be used to verify the iPhone in the form. The easiest way to do this is to grab the device's serial number. You can find it in Settings > General > About. Claims need to be submitted online or postmarked by December 21, 2026. The court's final approval hearing is scheduled for February 24, 2027, so payments will still be several months out. The maximum payout is $95, but nobody is guaranteed to receive that amount. Ultimately, the payout will depend on how many valid claims are submitted to the settlement, as well as what the overall settlement expenses end up being.
