Sumukh's journey as a writer began in 2018 when he decided to hide his B.Tech degree in the closet and began writing guides and reviews for TechPP.com. He then took up the role of a senior writer at XDA — one of the most popular destinations for tech enthusiasts. In 2022, he was appointed as the Lead Editor at Guiding Tech Media to oversee their content strategy. After working there for two years and scaling the publication to new heights, he decided to take the freelancing route, where he's now an Editor at BGR, while also writing features, opinions, and reviews for SlashGear and XDA.

Sumukh has a bachelor's degree in electronics and communication engineering from PES University in Bengaluru, India.
