Joe began freelance writing as a college student, contributing humorous articles to Cracked. He served as a staff writer for Thrillist Media Group in 2015, covering apps, consumer tech tips, and pop culture. Joe became a professional full-time freelancer in 2016, covering tech and all things geek culture. His work has appeared in The Huffington Post, Time, Thrillist, Yahoo!, Elite Daily, and many other major publications. Joe particularly enjoys covering the ways tech innovations can promote educational experiences, support mental and physical health, and allow users to flex their creative muscles.

Joe earned a bachelor's degree in adolescence education with a focus on English from the State University of New York at New Paltz.
