Keeping your everyday workflow tools accessible and organized isn't something we all do, but a little optimization goes a long way. To that end, there are a few UGREEN products you can invest in to improve the look, feel, and productivity of your home office or workplace cubicle. Over the last few years, UGREEN has risen through the ranks, and the manufacturer's commitment to budget-friendly tech is only one of its calling cards.
Most UGREEN products are thoughtfully engineered to help you get the most out of your workstation. The company also focuses heavily on portability and intuitive designs; you'll be hard-pressed to find a UGREEN device that doesn't fit in a bag or laptop sleeve, and chassis materials like aluminum alloy (used on several UGREEN accessories) help ensure your gadgets are built to last.
UGREEN has a dizzying number of products to choose from, so we put together a list of five of our favorite UGREEN gadgets we'd want on our desk at all times. We also didn't select any device that scored less than four stars on Amazon, and we referenced user feedback for each of our five selections.
UGREEN Maxidok Thunderbolt 5 Docking Station
One of the best ways to maximize your workspace is to introduce a docking station. For those in need of multiple high-resolution displays and numerous peripherals, the $400 UGREEN Maxidok Thunderbolt 5 Docking Station is the end-all, be-all hub we'd recommend. Delivering up to 120Gbps across its four TB5 ports, the Maxidok transfers heavy-duty files in record time; UGREEN even claims you can transfer a 21GB movie in as little as two seconds!
For those of us looking to invest in multiple screens, the Maxidok supports up to three 4K/144Hz connections, two 6K/60Hz, or a single 8K/60Hz display. The docking station is compatible with most TB5 and TB4 Mac and Windows hardware, and its TB5 host port (which connects to your laptop or desktop PC) delivers up to 140 watts of power; that's enough juice to recharge a 16-inch MacBook Pro from zero to 50% battery in just 26 minutes.
Other noteworthy features include a five-stage cooling system, SD and microSD card slots, and a 2.5G Ethernet port (along with 2 x USB-A 3.2 ports and 2 x USB-A 3.0). On Amazon, the Maxidok TB5 scored 4 out of 5 stars, based on over 140 user reviews. Many customers love the dock's plug-and-play design, fast performance, and overall versatility. We did see a few reports of connection issues, so you'll definitely want to make sure the tech you plan on interfacing with is compatible.
UGREEN Nexode 500W GaN Charging Station
The hulking $250 UGREEN Nexode 500W GaN Charging Station is desktop power on a whole new level. A solid 200 Amazon reviews earned this workstation companion 4.4 out of 5 stars, and most folks praised the Nexode's performance, from its fast charging speeds to its relatively cool operation. It's a big deal that a gallium-nitride (GaN) charger pushes so much power, even if you can only get up to 240 watts when a compatible laptop is connected.
Spec-wise, the numbers look good for charging multiple devices, too: With two products connected, you'll get up to 240 watts from the top USB-C port and 100 watts from every other USB-C. With all six ports in use, the leading USB-C still tops out at 240 watts; all other USB-C ports are limited to 60 watts, while the USB-A is locked to 20 watts. Whether you need to charge several laptops simultaneously or your daily driver tech (e.g., phone, tablet, wireless earbuds, etc.) needs to be topped off, the UGREEN Nexode is the powerhouse for the job.
UGREEN is always big on proper failsafes, and we'd like you to know that the Nexode has 11 levels of product defense, including protection against voltage spikes, current surges, and overheating. It even has a built-in temperature sensor that constantly monitors and optimizes the device's charging output based on how many devices are connected and what type they are.
UGREEN MagFlow 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Station
Apple and Android may never see eye to eye, but that doesn't mean you can't use the $140 UGREEN MagFlow 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Station with both. Mind you, you'll be in the best shape possible if you're an iOS devotee, as the MagFlow is able to charge an iPhone (up to 25 watts), AirPods, and Apple Watch (both up to 5 watts) simultaneously. UGREEN even included a 45-watt USB-C power adapter.
The MagFlow 3-in-1 has a Qi2-certified magnetic dock that grips your iPhone for dear life; the same goes for Android devices with a compatible MagSafe case. UGREEN's ThermalGuard technology keeps everything running cool and efficient, and an eight-stage defense system protects your tech from overheating, voltage spikes, and short-circuiting. We also like that the MagFlow is easily foldable for travel, and that the Qi2 dock can be rotated up to 360 degrees.
What do the people say? On Amazon, shoppers gave the MagFlow 3-in-1 a 4.4-out-of-5-star rating, based on over 310 reviews. While most feedback is at the 5-star level, this one-star review caught our attention; apparently, the MagFlow failed after just a couple of months. That said, there doesn't seem to be an overwhelming quality control issue, and UGREEN does provide a two-year warranty for the product.
UGREEN Revodok Pro 9-in-1 USB-C Hub
A portable USB-C hub can be a lifesaver when your laptop doesn't have enough ports. The best models deliver fast data transfers, charging capabilities, and multiple fail-safes, which is exactly what the $43 UGREEN Revodok Pro 9-in-1 USB-C Hub does. This thing is packed with useful connections, including 2 x USB-C, 2 x USB-A, 1 x Ethernet (1 Gbps), 1 x HDMI (4K/60Hz), SD and microSD slots, and an 85-watt host port (USB-C PD) for your laptop.
Three of the four USB ports support up to 10Gbps transfer speeds, making it ideal for dropping files onto a USB flash drive or external SSD. We also like the built-in blackout button that cuts the video feed to a connected monitor. UGREEN opted for an aluminum alloy chassis, so the adapter holds up well against drops and dings, too. And while you may never use every single port that the Revodok Pro 9-in-1 has to offer, it's nice to know they're there.
Amazon shoppers gave the product a 4.4-out-of-5-star score, based on over 1,700 reviews. Most folks were pleased with the accessory's performance and versatility, but your laptop must support DisplayPort Alt Mode for the Revodok to output video. You may also need to install drivers to get everything to handshake correctly.
UGREEN Vertical Wireless Mouse (Bluetooth, 2.4GHz)
Verticality may not be the first thing we think of when we hear the word "mouse," but the $30 UGREEN Vertical Wireless Mouse proves the concept exists, and UGREEN isn't the only manufacturer offering it. With a 57-degree vertical design, it aims to reduce wrist strain while providing a comfortable home for your thumb and palm. It may take a little getting used to at first, but once you're locked in, a regular mouse will be hard to go back to.
UGREEN built in broad compatibility, so you can easily connect to both Windows and Mac hardware via Bluetooth or 2.4GHz. (For the latter, the included USB-A adapter must be plugged into the device you want to pair to.) You can also pair the mouse to three devices simultaneously; switching inputs is as simple as short-pressing the device switch button. You can also pair the mouse to a phone or tablet, and we wouldn't be surprised if it could interface with certain smart TV/streaming device apps.
Now we turn to the good word of the people: Amazon shoppers gave this UGREEN mouse 4.4 out of 5 stars, based on over 2,950 reviews. Users like the cost and performance (for the most part), but some individuals felt some of the buttons weren't tactile enough. You could definitely do much worse for $30, but we also understand how important solid haptics are, especially when you're working with multiple displays.
