Google Pixel 11 Referral Program: How It Works & What You Get

Following the release of the Google Pixel 11 in August, the Google Store Pixel Referral Program is back, offering a 10% discount on eligible Pixel phones to those with a referral code and $50 Google Store credit to the referrer.

The Pixel 11 Referral Program runs from October 1 to November 4, 2026, and allows Pixel phone users to send referral codes to friends, who can input the code at checkout when buying an eligible phone to receive 10% off. The code owner receives $50 Google Store credit for the completed purchase. As users can send referrals to up to 10 friends, Pixel owners can make up to $500 Google Store credit.

The Pixel Referral Program first launched in November 2022, shortly after the release of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, offering $100 Google Store credit to you and a friend if they purchased a Pixel using your code before June 30, 2023. Since then, the limited-time campaign has returned at least once a year, typically after the launch of a new Pixel phone, though the rewards have changed. Below, we break down how the Pixel 11 Referral Program works, including how to share and use a referral code, eligibility requirements, and which Pixel phones can be purchased through the program.

If you've been notified that you can refer someone — or want to check if you can –, head to Google's refer a friend page and enter your friend's email address, or select 'Copy code' to share it with them in a message. That person can then choose an eligible Pixel phone from the Google Store to add to their basket, either the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, Pixel 10a, Pixel 11, or Pixel 11 Pro. If they add more than one phone, the device with the highest value receives the discount.

Each referral code starts with "REF," followed by 23 characters made up of letters and numbers. Once your friend has added a phone to their basket, they can input the code at checkout to receive a 10% discount. 

If you want to track the progress of your recommendations, return to Google's referral page. The $50 Google Store referral credit won't land in your account until roughly 15 days after a receiver's return-remorse period has ended, which can be up to 30 days after their purchase. The reward is voided if they return their device.

To refer a friend through Google's program, you must be an active Pixel phone user who was opted in to receive Pixel promotional emails when the campaign launched. If you haven't opted in, you can't take advantage of this bonus this time, but it's worth doing so now for future campaigns. To do this, turn on promotional emails under Emails from Google Services in your Google account settings.

In addition, the code receiver must be over 18 years old, a U.S. resident, signed into their Google account, have a Google Pay profile registered in the U.S. with a valid form of payment, and mustn't have previously used a referral code from this program. Eligible referrers can request codes until November 4, 2026, and referral codes must be used by November 18, 2026. In addition, only one code can be used per buyer, and each $50 of Google Store credit received for referrals expires 365 days after it's issued. Google also warns that it "reserves the right to substitute, change, cancel or add to any part of these Terms at any time, including terminating the Referral code program or modifying these Terms."

While your friends can use the referral discount in tandem with other offers (like trade-in and carrier deals) , they can't combine it with introductory offers on newly-launched Pixel devices or during major promotional events, including Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and December Holiday offers.
