Experience
Tom began his career as an editor at his university's student newspaper. Upon graduating, he worked as part of TechRadar's phones team from 2019 to 2022, then moved to What to Watch to work as the streaming and ecommerce editor until 2025. Now he's a freelance contributor for a range of sites, including TechRadar, Digital Trends, and GamesRadar, writing about technology, entertainment, and gaming. He's written most prolifically about mobile technology (like smartphones, tablets, wearables, and e-readers) and audio (including headphones, earbuds, turntables, and Bluetooth speakers), but he also covers entertainment, fitness, AV kits, streaming services, and gaming hardware, having written reviews, features, and round-ups of these topics and more.
