  • Asad takes gaming—especially RPGs, roguelites, and card games—very seriously. To this end, he uses various programs and software to simulate thousands of builds at once, such as GenSim for Genshin Impact.
  • Since building his first PC in 2018, Asad has repeatedly switched out parts to upgrade it. The most recent of these changes was switching out an RTX 3060 GPU for an RTX 4070 SUPER to run Monster Hunter Wilds better.
  • Asad's first console was a PS2 that he got for his eighth birthday. This sparked his interest in gaming tech from a young age.

Experience

Asad began writing as a freelance ghostwriter in 2019, covering commerce and tech. Later, in 2020, he joined Orpheus Magazine as part of the editorial team, which pushed him to pursue writing full-time. Since then, Asad has authored troubleshooting guides for PC, consoles, and Android/iOS as well as covering consumer tech, games, and anime for publications such as TheGamer and Netflix Life. Today, Asad contributes to BGR and Tech4Gamers while studying game development in his free time.
