Today he's a freelance journalist and communications consultant, writing about health tech, quality assurance testing, and parenting in the screen era. He's contributed to Business Insider, Parents.com, Inverse, and New Scientist.

Brendan earned a bachelor's degree in public relations from Western Michigan University, where he wrote for The Western Herald. He also completed a professional writing certificate through UC Berkeley Extension.
