Alejandro got his start as a writer at his college newspaper, the North Texas Daily. Before graduating from college, he turned an internship at an outdoor startup into a full-time writing position. Looking to venture out on his own, he became a full-time freelance writer, writing about camera gear for Shutterstock and its sister site, PremiumBeat. As a freelancer, Alejandro has also written for Tom's Guide, Input (now part of Inverse), The Inventory, and Crunchyroll. He's also a freelance videographer for BroadbandNow, shooting router reviews and shorts for their YouTube channel.

Alejandro has a bachelor's in journalism (news) from the University of North Texas.
